Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA)
http://www.casaforchildren.org/site/c.mtJSJ7MPIsE/b.5301303/k.6FB1/About_Us__CASA_for_Children.htmCASA volunteers are community citizens that judges appoint to advocate for the safety and well-being of children who have been removed from their homes due to parental abuse and neglect. They stand up for these children and change their lives. They advocate for abused children, making sure that their needs don't get lost in the overburdened legal and social service system. For many abused children, their CASA volunteer is the one constant adult presence in their lives.
